sewing project

The rose star project started this Monday, but unfortunately I've had a very busy start of the week at work, so I've only just got on with the project last night.
I started by copying the pattern posted on Summerfete, and off I am now!! I am pleased with it so far, and it looks like it's going to be very addictive over the weekend. What do you think?

Sorry for the bad light...can't wait to get home from work when the sun is still out there!
